Tomorrow from 5:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. the Museum of Art and History, located in downtown Santa Cruz, will be collaborating with the Santa Cruz County Art of Guitar Festival to put on an “Art of Guitar” themed First Friday.
Kenny Hill and sons from Hill Guitar Company will set up a guitar workshop in the Museum of Art and History and demonstrate how to make fine classical guitars. Come interact with the luthiers, see the tools, the parts, smell the saw dust while they construct hand-built, concert level classical guitars. This exhibit is a rare opportunity to see the art and techniques that produce these amazing instruments!
This event is a component of The Santa Cruz Art of Guitar Exhibit and Festival. The festival is six weeks long and includes a series of events featuring many of the worlds most admired guitar builders who live and work here in Santa Cruz County, including Hill Guitar Company.
